Phils signed Pedro Feliz as I reported about 2 weeks ago........alright I didn't report it I was "speculating." And I wouldn't look for the Phils to deal 3rd basemen Wes Helms yet, interest in him is luke warm at best, a deal will most likely happen during spring training. So hurry down to Clearwater if you wanna get one last photo with "ole huckleberry" in Phils pinstripes.

Eli Manning Super Bowl MVP? Are you serious? Gomer Pyle MVP? This has got to be some sort of horrible nightmare. I'll admit I was cheering for the Giants but after it was all said and done I had a horrible feeling in my stomach, like I ate bad chinese. Was I actually cheering for the *gulp* Giants? Afterwards watching them celebrate I could not believe what I had just done. I feel bad , I still haven't eaten, so I think I've paid for my sins.

Flyers on a Roll, Forsberg News

Fly guys are hot, could a return of Foppa be on the horizon? Word is the Flyers offered him a 2 year deal worth a little under 3 Million a year. Forsberg is apparently asking for around 5 mil for a 2 or 3 year deal. According to sources about a dozen teams have inquired about Forsberg and most of those teams have offered or will be willing to offer more then the Flyers. However, If you have followed Forsberg's career you know it's about Championships for him not money. I still feel Forsberg returning to the Flyers is at about 75%. A number of GMs have visted with Forsberg in Sweden this past week but only Paul Holmgren admitted he was there to see the great Foppa. Not sure what that could mean, I have some ideas but we don't have the time nor the space on this blog to get into it.
